“El querer es poder — where there’s a will, there’s a way.” That’s the motto that drives Yoleth, an 11th grade Ednovate scholar at East College Prep. As Ambassador Vice President and Treasurer for Student Government, she is already proving herself as a leader-in-the-making. This past summer, Yoleth joined the Coro Southern California Youth Climate Fellowship, spending five weeks exploring social and climate justice issues alongside peers, guest speakers, and community leaders. Her experience reinforced the importance of youth voices and activism, and highlighted the critical role her generation plays in shaping the future. Thanks to the foundation she’s built at Ednovate—where leadership, advocacy, and civic engagement are at the core—Yoleth stepped into the fellowship ready to lead, listen, and grow. We are so proud of Yoleth for stepping into leadership, carrying forward our school motto of “PMC –Positive Multigenerational Change” and inspiring others with her vision for change. Her journey reminds us all that young voices aren’t just the leaders of tomorrow — they are shaping our communities today. #YouthLeadership #PositiveMultigenerationalChange #Ednovate #ClimateJustice #CoroFellowship #EducationInnovation #FutureLeaders #CommunityImpact

AI is transforming the classroom — and Ednovate is at the forefront of that change. – Check out our feature in La Opinion, exploring how Ednovate has built clear AI guidelines, trained staff and families, and introduced cutting-edge tools like Khanmigo for one-on-one math tutoring and Magic School for lesson planning. Teachers now use AI to get real-time feedback on classroom dynamics, helping them ask better questions, spark more student engagement, and design stronger lessons. The result: technology that amplifies, not replaces, the human connection at the heart of learning. Our approach shows how schools can embrace AI with responsibility, creativity, and vision — preparing students not just for college, but for the world they’re stepping into. https://lnkd.in/g6rWAPi2

What Happens When Teens Who Speak Spanish at Home Master Mandarin? A Whole New World of Possibility — At Ednovate East College Prep, students are innovating how language connects communities. In Ms. Huiling Zhong’s Mandarin II class, scholars are mastering a language few have exposure to at home — proving that persistence and curiosity fuel achievement. Their work goes beyond the classroom: using Mandarin to greet customers, explore global cultures, and imagine future careers in fields like engineering, medicine, and film. The innovation lies in how students weave Mandarin into their everyday lives, building bridges across languages and cultures. Each lesson highlights not only academic growth, but also the power of communication to transform opportunity. This is what it looks like when education prepares students to thrive in a global world.
