“When a child never gets diagnosed, it feels like a missed opportunity. When a child who was receiving treatment stops getting treatment, it feels like a crime against humanity,” says EGPAF’s Catherine Connor. Across Lesotho, funding cuts are threatening progress against HIV, putting children and families at risk. We are committed to supporting the fight for an HIV-free generation—working with partners, advocating for resources, and helping ensure that vital care reaches those who need it most. Even in challenging times, every child’s life matters. And every missed diagnosis is one we must prevent Read the full story from The Associated Press: https://bit.ly/4n9BtpN

AI is transforming how we deliver HIV care and strengthen health systems. In partnership with Microsoft’s Hack4Good and Squadra Digital, EGPAF has launched glAIser, an Azure AI–powered assistant that helps health workers make faster, data-driven decisions to improve care for people living with HIV. With glAIser, clinicians can quickly spot underperforming health facilities—like where HIV testing rates are dropping or treatment delays are emerging—and act fast to close gaps in care. And that’s just one example of how this tool is revolutionizing how we use data to drive better health outcomes. Read more: https://bit.ly/4n6SHUI

At last week’s Mid-Atlantic MarCom Summit, EGPAF’s Catherine Connor joined Global Health Council's Elisha Dunn-Georgiou and AVAC's Mitchell Warren for a powerful discussion on “From Crisis to Catalyst: Reimagining Global Health Partnership in the Post-USAID Era.” Catherine highlighted how countries are beginning to adapt to shifting global health policies and why partnership, persistence, and optimism are critical to sustaining progress against HIV and strengthening health systems worldwide. Thank you to our panelists for such a thought-provoking conversation, and to POLITICO's Cheyanne M. Daniels for skillfully moderating this important discussion. #GlobalHealth #HIV #HealthEquity #MarComSummitDC #ADWKDC

We’re honored to launch our newest initiative, Common Ground for Global Health, supported by the Gates Foundation. This initiative will combine policy education with first-person storytelling to highlight the impact of U.S. programs fighting pediatric HIV and AIDS and will underscore the importance of protecting maternal, newborn, and child health. By sharing evidence and real stories with policymakers, we aim to protect hard-won gains and ensure continued investment in saving lives.
