When it comes to internships, a recent Rand report suggests, “National capacity could be bolstered by creating more programs, including those for other construction occupations; increasing the capacity of existing programs; and addressing state apprenticeship environments.” https://hubs.ly/Q030f19s0 #BusinessTipMonday #Apprentices

🎉 Happy National Apprenticeship Week! 🎉 ✨ Meet Sione, our 4th-year apprentice, hard at work making up a sub panel at Maui Bay Villas! ✨ When asked about his experience as an apprentice, Sione shared: “My favorite thing about being an apprentice is learning the trade from journeymen and foremen. There is a plethora of knowledge in the field that I feel is never-ending. Also, these guys are pretty darn cool if you ask me.” At ELCCO, our Electrical Apprenticeship Program not only builds skilled professionals like Sione but also strengthens our local community. By providing hands-on training and education, we empower the next generation of electricians to create lasting careers in the trades. We’re proud of Sione’s dedication and his passion for mastering the craft. 💪⚡ #NationalApprenticeshipWeek #ELCCO #ApprenticeLife #ElectricalWork #Teamwork #JourneymenWisdom #BuildingOurFuture #CommunityImpact @nationalapprenticeshipweek

🌟 Happy National Apprenticeship Week! 🌟 At ELCCO, we believe in investing in the future of our industry by supporting the next generation of skilled electricians. Apprenticeships are at the core of what we do, offering hands-on experience, mentorship, and opportunities for growth. 💡 Meet Etan, one of our 2nd year apprentices, pictured here working on a project at Lahainaluna: "My goal is to become a great electrician one day, so I am grateful for this electrical apprenticeship opportunity through ELCCO. I know finishing my electrical apprenticeship through ELCCO will open great opportunities for my career as an electrician." 💪 To our apprentices: Thank you for your hard work and dedication. You’re the future of our trade, and we’re proud to support you every step of the way. #NationalApprenticeshipWeek #ApprenticeshipsWork #ELCCOElectric #FutureElectricians #WorkforceDevelopment @nationalapprenticeshipweek

⚡ Happy National Apprenticeship Week! ⚡ Our 4th-year apprentices kicked off their first class of the school year in August. We had the chance to chat with a few of them about why they love being apprentices and the goals they’re working toward—here are some of their answers! 💡💪 "I like being an apprentice because I'm learning a trade that I enjoy doing. I take pride in my work. I look forward to the future—running my own jobs and teaching others the skills I have picked up along the way to succeed." - Paul, 4th Year Electrical Apprentice "I love learning and apprenticeships are all about learning. My aspirations are to become a journeyman, and then a foreman, and hopefully start my own electrical company one day." - Mitchell, 4th Year Electrical Apprentice "I like being an apprentice because I'm getting the opportunity to learn a critical trade needed here on Maui, and I'm getting to do it alongside a great group of people. My biggest aspiration is to be able to provide a good future for my family and to have a legacy that I can physically point to and say, 'I helped build that.'" - Jake, 4th Year Electrical Apprentice #NationalApprenticeshipWeek #FutureLeaders #SkilledTrades #ApprenticeLife @nationalapprenticeshipweek #ELCCO
