Only ~15% of space companies build the actual infrastructure — rockets and satellites. EnduroSat is one of them, and they're doing it from Bulgaria. 🚀 Founded in 2015 by Raycho Raychev, the company has been redefining how we access space. Its modular satellites can perform multiple missions, cutting costs and drastically accelerating time to orbit. Now, EnduroSat just closed a $104 million funding round led by Riot Ventures, a milestone that will help the company scale production to two modular satellites per day. Spain is getting older, but senior care hasn’t kept up. Endeavor Entrepreneur Oriol Fuertes Cabassa and his team at Qida are changing that. Qida’s integrated platform combines in-home care, specialized insurance, and technology-driven monitoring to help more people live longer, healthier, and more independent lives at home. Since 2018, Qida has supported more than 20,000 families, grown to 230 employees and 5,000 caregivers, and expanded to 20+ offices across 7 Spanish cities. And they just announced a new funding round led by Quadrille Capital, Asabys Partners, and COFIDES (Social Impact Fund), with ICF and our own Endeavor Catalyst joining as new investors. In 2007, when I first visited the Middle East with Endeavor, few in the region called themselves entrepreneurs. Venture capital was barely present. In Dubai last week: founders like Mohamad Ballout (Kitopi) and Michael Lahyani (Property Finder) are scaling global companies from the region. The Careem founders, Mudassir Sheikha and Karl Magnus Olsson, have inspired and invested in 300+ alumni ventures — including Alaan, a Dubai-based AI company selected at our Endeavor International Selection Panel this week! In Riyadh: founders like Ahmed Hamdan (Unifonic) and Abdulmajeed Alsukhan (Tamara) are leading a new wave of Saudi innovation, backed by an ecosystem that’s accelerating faster than ever before. Saudi Arabia is also attracting founders like Pieter de Villiers (Clickatell) who started in South Africa and expanded throughout the Middle East via the incredible Endeavor network in Riyadh. The result? A generation of founders not only building startups, but building ecosystems. As I told Entrepreneur Middle East: when we started Endeavor, people thought scaling from “elsewhere” – markets outside of Silicon Valley or China – was impossible. Today, the Middle East is proving otherwise and helping to shape the future of global entrepreneurship.

Through her global organization supporting high-impact entrepreneurs, Linda Rottenberg, co-founder and CEO of Endeavor, has spent nearly three decades proving one idea that once seemed outrageous: that world-changing entrepreneurs can come from anywhere. "Yes..they called me 'Chica Loca' — the crazy girl," she laughs, recalling the early days when she was told entrepreneurship only belonged to Silicon Valley. "But I knew the world was full of people with the drive, creativity, and courage to build extraordinary companies — they just needed the right ecosystem around them." Today, Endeavor operates in 50+ markets, supports over 3,000 entrepreneurs, and collectively represents nearly US$90 billion in annual revenue and 4 million jobs. The organization has become the backbone of global entrepreneurship — and in many ways, the Middle East has become one of its boldest chapters. Rottenberg's admiration for the UAE is immediate. "I love Dubai," she says. "We're hosting 30 Endeavor entrepreneurs here this week — from Latin America, Africa, Europe, Asia, and across the Middle East — because the UAE has become this incredible hub for talent, markets, and capital.
