The Men’s Rising Leaders Program! We’re proud to announce the launch of the Men’s Rising Leaders Program, an initiative designed to empower and develop emerging leaders in the nonprofit sector. In partnership with exalt, we brought together 11 remarkable men for a transformative four-day retreat focused on leadership, reflection, and community. From October 16–19, participants engaged in powerful workshops and discussions led by an inspiring group of facilitators, Dr. Lisette Nieves, Dr. Noel Anderson, Dr. Aldrin Bonilla, Rashad Nelms, JD, Dr. Janelle Viruet, Ed.D., Sharif El-Mekki, Dr. Dr. Travis L Brown, and Cesar Ventura Tapia. Throughout the weekend, we explored: 💡 Translating personal strengths into leadership action 🧭 Leading through crisis and cultivating resilience 📚 Reflecting through literature and dialogue 🧠 Navigating vicarious trauma and supporting mental health 🎯 Setting career goals and advancing pathways in youth development Morning wellness walks, intentional discussions, and a meaningful closing ceremony grounded the experience in leadership, purpose, and self-reflection. We’re deeply grateful to the exalt team members who participated with such openness, reflection, and purpose. Your leadership, compassion, and daily commitment to uplifting young people embody the spirit of growth and service that defines exalt. Calling all Connecticut nonprofits! Nonprofits are being asked to do more with less, and AI can help. We are excited to announce that the AI for Nonprofits Sprint is now recruiting a cohort of Connecticut-based 501(c)(3) organizations ready to upskill their staff, strengthen programs, and expand impact. We're a nonprofit organization ourselves with the clear mission to help get our sector up to speed on all things AI. Through structured training, peer learning, and hands-on support, participating organizations will: ✅ Get a baseline understanding of where staff stand, today ✅ Develop responsible AI use guidelines ✅ Train staff in AI fundamentals ✅ Join 5 months of facilitated peer learning Last year, we supported nearly 140 nonprofits and 38,000 staff completed our AI 101 training.
