  • We’re thrilled to welcome Leo Vinogradov, Software Engineer, to Freed! Leo was immediately drawn to Freed after seeing how much clinicians love the product — and how meaningfully it reduces the burden of documentation. A self-described “hacker” of tedious life tasks, Leo deeply resonates with our mission to use technology to streamline the administrative work clinicians face, so they can focus more fully on practicing medicine. With a background in identity security, Leo brings a strong engineering foundation and a sharp eye for building scalable, reliable systems. Now at Freed, he’s excited to help shape a product that clinicians can truly trust — and that fits seamlessly into their workflow. Outside of work, Leo brings a thoughtful, systems-minded approach to everything he does (including optimizing life’s everyday inefficiencies). We’re excited for the impact he’ll make as we continue to build technology that empowers clinicians and makes their day-to-day experience feel lighter. Welcome to the team, Leo!

  • Over the weekend, a group of local and visiting Freedos took on Square Top Mountain in Colorado’s Front Range. Moments like these remind us how important it is to connect as people — not just coworkers behind screens. These shared experiences strengthen our culture of curiosity, courage, and connection, both in the work we do and on the trails we climb together. Now to tackle our next mountain- Q4! ⛰️

In his role as Software Engineer, Matti is focused on designing and building intuitive, reliable experiences that empower clinicians to feel less weighed down by administrative tasks and more present in their work. • The app may be dying. In healthcare, that means something bigger:    📉 fewer screens  📉 fewer clicks  📈 more time with patients AI agents don’t just streamline — they disappear. They take charting, toggling, and templates off the clinician’s plate so the patient’s story comes back to the center of care. At Freed, this is our vision: a future where the chart is invisible, and the patient is visible again. A thoughtful piece from Jaime Catmull on the rise of AI agents, including insights from our very own Erez Druk  👉 https://lnkd.in/eu32NDpY

  • We’re excited to welcome Romain Di Vuolo, Software Engineer, to Freed! Romain was drawn to Freed’s mission because of his passion for using AI to solve real problems. What resonated most was our focus on reducing the documentation burden for clinicians — helping them reclaim time and energy to focus on care. For Romain, the “magic moment” is when AI makes things easier before you even think about it. He’s excited to reduce complexity, think a few steps ahead, and build solutions that feel effortless and intuitive. In his role as Software Engineer, Romain is focused on creating reliable, simple systems that empower clinicians to finish their day with less stress and more headspace.Romain brings over a decade of experience across industries including gaming, mobility, health, and AI startups. He has worn many hats -engineer, technical lead, and founder - and has built everything from consumer-facing apps to large-scale backend systems in fast-paced environments. Now, he brings that breadth of expertise to healthcare, applying it to problems that truly matter. We’re thrilled to have Romain on the team as we continue to grow and deliver on our mission to restore joy to medicine.

Independent practices are the backbone of healthcare — but they’re under strain. Our recent survey found many clinicians struggling with burnout, cutting back hours, or rethinking how long they can keep up the pace. But it also revealed something encouraging: AI is already helping. Clinicians using tools like Freed are spending less time charting after hours, carrying less admin burden, and focusing more on patient care. That’s the conversation our CEO, Erez Druk, brought to HIMSS: how AI can help lighten the load and keep community medicine thriving. https://lnkd.in/g3wMHvSy

She also helped revamp Sigma’s design system—making the product more intuitive, valuable, and sticky for users. Now at Freed, Janice is excited to carry that expertise forward, creating simple yet powerful tools that elevate the clinician experience.
