About us
The Galaxy Project powers global life sciences analytics by turning the world’s most advanced cyberinfrastructure into a free, browser-based analysis platform for everyone. With hundreds of thousands of users running millions of jobs using thousands of tools and workflows—no installs, no clusters required—Galaxy breaks down technical and economic barriers that traditionally limit data-driven discovery. It serves massive consortia and single-grant labs alike, delivering transparency, provenance, training at world scale, and national compute worth millions. Galaxy multiplies the impact of every researcher, accelerates breakthroughs, and makes truly reproducible science not just possible—but routine. That’s analytics without borders!

Galaxy Project reposted this Let’s us know if you’ll be at PAG! We would love to promote your work and connect with the community. #usegalaxy 🌿 Will you be at #PAG33? Galaxy will be at the International Plant & Animal Genome Conference (January 9–14, 2026, San Diego), and we want to know who from the Galaxy community will be there! This quick form helps us: 🌟 Identify Galaxy attendees 🎤 Find potential speakers for the Galaxy Workshop 📊 Highlight Galaxy posters at our booth 🤝 Gauge interest in a community meetup Let us know 👉 https://lnkd.in/djSyaWum

Galaxy Project reposted this We're working with our ELIXIR, EMBL, Euro-BioImaging and Instruct ERIC members to bring together a range of Europe's leading life sciences resources so they can be discovered, are interoperable and available for federated analysis across the EOSC Association landscape. This is the new EOSC Life Sciences Connect Node. Already our partners in e.g. Galaxy Project have been testing the EOSC EU Node functionality to host services and connect to their existing Pulsar compute services for multi domain projects. We're working to integrate Life Science Login https://lnkd.in/e83VMYeV allowing more advanced identity and access management for use of sensitive data resources. In the recently launched EOSC United project: https://lnkd.in/et4dBK2R we're also going to be testing and integrating thematic cloud services such as de.NBI Cloud, alongside further Galaxy integration and testing. Looking forward to meeting everyone at the EOSC Symposium next week in Brussels! 📣 ELIXIR, Euro-BioImaging, Instruct-ERIC and the EMBL have joined forces to establish 🙌 a European Open Science Cloud (EOSC) Node - Life Sciences Connect - as part of the newly formed #EOSCFederation. The four organisations have signed a memorandum of understanding outlining their shared commitment to support life science capacity within #EOSC. The EOSC Life Sciences Connect Node brings together 🧬 #biodata expertise and resources to improve access to repositories, software tools, services, standardised workflows and reproducible methods for 🔬 #lifescience researchers. 🤝 It will work with other #EOSC nodes to share expertise and give users access to interoperable, #FAIR, secure and ethically compliant data, services and computational resources across Europe 🌍.
