About us

unBurnt® is on a mission to create more workplaces where thriving is the norm. Through our immersive programming, we strengthen both operational health and personal wellbeing. How do we help? - Educate on the early warning signs of chronic stress & burnout. - Teach micro-habit systems to increase capacity and enhance wellbeing. - Help teams identify work patterns that fuel stress and friction, and replace them with practical, measurable habits that support long-term performance. What it looks like in practice: For People: - Starting the day with energy, ending it with enough left for life. - Having mental clarity to make smart calls, not just fast ones. - Less context-switching and reactivity, more deep work and presence. - The tools to manage everyday stressors before they become chronic. For Companies: - Clear priorities to deliver the right outcomes. - Fewer wasted cycles are spent on low-value work. - Teams are aligned and mentally ready to deliver. I’ll be honest, I struggle with the tension between the root causes of societal stress and what we, as individuals, can realistically do to stay well. Because simply saying "just change your mindset" ignores the systemic issues that create so much unnecessary friction in our workdays and our lives. It’s just not that simple. That kind of thinking puts the responsibility solely on the individual, when the truth is, the problem is so much more complex. Many can't opt out of the meeting. Or skip the debrief when they need a break. Or choose to leave a toxic workplace, because they need the paycheck. So while I recognize that not everyone has the privilege or safety to easily step away from a stressful environment…(nor should we expect one human to have to fight against a broken system, alone)... ...I also believe it’s worth holding space for the small ways we can strengthen our tolerance for responding to, and moving through stress. The habits and micro-shifts that protect our wellbeing from the inside out. Both can be true. We can name what’s broken (and fight like hell to change it) AND still care for ourselves within it. Start small. Some days, let good enough be enough. Try one reset, one breath, one boundary at a time. Scroll through the list and tell me, what else would you add? 🌿 ----------- Hi I'm Alison, founder of unBurnt and I'm on a mission to support more workplaces where thriving is the norm, while helping people name the overwhelm and improve their wellbeing.

When energy feels constantly borrowed, every task feels heavier. I know, because that was my reality for far too long. 🙋♀️ I thought it was me. That I couldn't keep up. That there was something inherently wrong with the way I was approaching it all. Until I broke down. Started to rebuild. And realized I wasn't alone. That's the thing about the messaging we get about determination. It's not just about personal accomplishment and the pride we feel on the other side of whatever obstacle we overcome. Because that's wonderful and a great thing to learn. Truly. But it can also be a trap. Designed to make us feel like we're doing it wrong. To try harder, accept the unsustainable. Keep going, growth at all costs. But as women, we're slowly waking up. Rejecting the outdated tapes and you know what? I'm loving it. Check out the Founding Mothers podcast with my friend and founder Balu Belz where we dig in to this and so much more. 🙌 https://lnkd.in/e8hSSPYw

I'm celebrating unBurnt turning 1 today! 🥳 Betting on myself and founding a company has been everything I hoped for. And it's true what they say: like nothing I could have expected. It's really a weird thing to be certain and uncertain all day, every day. I launched unBurnt with a mission and a lofty goal. → The mission: help people recover from burnout and feel less alone. → The goal: redefine success beyond a one-sized-fits-all version of hustle culture, while destigmatizing the shame and risk in naming stress and overwhelm. The HOW is still very much a work-in progress in true 0>1 fashion. But I have learned so much, and brick by brick, I'm figuring it out. I've had the privilege of working with some really incredible clients. I've conducted a few hundred discovery calls at this point. I've faltered and doubted myself more times that I can count. I've launched my own research in partnership with Bentley. I've had really proud moments, followed *immediately* by huge let downs. I've celebrated far too few times, but have gotten better over time. I've grown my network with so, so many talented and inspirational people. I've been riddled with not-enough-ness almost every day. And through it all... I've had this infallible belief that what I'm doing matters. A small part of a much larger shift that's happening in our world right now. Movements that are: - Naming invisible labor & creating solutions to help mothers carry the load. - Creating more conversations and change around care solutions. - Getting to root causes of friction at work, surrounding teams in support. - Lifting up leaders with human-centric solutions. - Building innovative products to leverage AI for the betterment of society. The energy in this shift is palpable The call to be part of this change is loud. I feel certain this is the work I've always been destined to do. Above all, the most energizing part of this journey has been the PEOPLE. ✨ There are way to many to tag here, but to each and every person who has helped, celebrated, listened, advised, taught, connected me with someone else, and been in my corner - THANK YOU!! None of us can do it alone, and knowing that you all have been in along for this journey with me means more than any business milestone ever will. Arthur J. Are you ignoring the warning signs? So many of us were raised in a culture of “pushing through” and “sticking it out”, especially as we rise in the ranks in corporate America. Each promotion comes with a heavier plate, higher expectations, and the quiet pressure to ignore the alarms going off in our bodies and minds. But what happens when you push past every warning? 👉 That’s exactly what we’ll be unpacking at our next Purpose Fueled Online event with special guest Alison Campbell. Alison was Chief of Staff & Head of Strategy and Analytics at a $1B+ global organization. On the outside, it looked like she was crushing it. On the inside, it was a different story. And she learned she had pushed too far when she landed herself in the hospital. Now, as the Founder of unBurnt®, Alison is on a mission to help leaders and teams break free from burnout culture and build workplaces rooted in wellness and sustainability. This is a conversation you don’t want to miss. Lori Ford and I would love to see you! 📅 October 3rd 👉 Register here: https://lnkd.in/guzxpAK2 Let’s talk about what it really takes to lead, succeed, and stay well.
