The #GiantEagle Veterans Business Resource Group and Retail Media Team, Leap Media Group, is proud to partner with Talking Rain Beverage Co®, makers of Sparkling Ice and K9s For Warriors to sponsor the training of Iggy, a black Labrador Retriever who will one day be paired with a military veteran living with invisible wounds of war. On Sept. 4, Iggy visited our Cranberry Township Headquarters and Cranberry Giant Eagle where he shook paws with eager Team Members and guests who were thrilled to meet him!

Last month, a guest fainted in front of the Moon Township Giant Eagle pharmacy counter. While waiting for first responders, Team Members Kristin Barancic and Taylor McCullough immediately stepped in—checking the guest’s blood pressure and providing calm, confident care. Their quick thinking and compassion turned a critical moment into a WOW experience. Shout out to Kristin and Taylor for going above and beyond when it mattered most!

In the culmination of our season-long "Giant Eagle Food for Free Throws" program, Team Members from Giant Eagle and the Cavaliers volunteered at the Greater Cleveland Food Bank, helping our neighbors with their shopping while also restocking shelves. During the volunteering event, the Cavs and Giant Eagle presented a check to the food bank for $16,700. Thanks to everyone who supported this program throughout the season and volunteered. Together, we helped feed our neighbors.
