Last week was Volunteer Week, and as it comes to a close, we want to say one thing loud and clear: THANK YOU! At Glenwood, our volunteers are far more than helping hands. They’re the warm, welcoming faces who greet every patient, guest, and visitor who walks through our doors. With kindness, compassion, and a steady presence, they make a lasting difference each and every day. Some of our volunteers have been a part of the Glenwood family for over 45 years, and their dedication continues to inspire us all. As April comes to a close, we’re proud to recognize Occupational Therapy (OT) Month and celebrate the meaningful impact our OT team makes for our patients every day. OT focuses on helping patients regain independence by building or restoring the skills needed for daily living, like dressing, cooking, working, and self-care - routines that give life meaning and purpose.
