“Anti-Americanism” to Be Reviewed in U.S. Immigration Applications! U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) is updating the criteria that officers consider when exercising discretion in certain immigration applications. From now on: 🔎 Applicants’ previous requests for parole, connections to anti-American or terrorist organizations, and evidence of antisemitic activities will be taken into account. 💻 In addition, social media screenings have been expanded to include anti-American activities. Such activities will be a significant negative factor in the evaluation of applications. ⚖️ The use of discretion is also being clarified for EB-5 investor applications that may threaten national interests, including cases involving fraud, misrepresentation, or criminal activity. USCIS officials have also emphasized that immigration benefits in the United States are a privilege, not a right, and should not be granted to those who are hostile to the country. 📰 Follow us to stay informed about immigration updates! #USImmigration #USVisa #GreenCard #ImmigrationLaw #GrapeLaw
