With research showing that 72% of students have fallen asleep before their delivery arrived, Snooze Insurance offers a creative solution: a make-up meal for the one that didn’t make it past the snooze button. From October 15 through November 1, students can text “DELIVERY” on Saturdays to receive a free redo meal, timed to align with key campus moments like Halloweekend. Grubhub powers robot delivery at more than 40 campuses nationwide — and in partnership with Avride, we’ve now completed over 100,000 autonomous deliveries at The Ohio State University's Columbus campus! Our program at OSU is the largest single-site robot food delivery operation in the U.S., and it’s been amazing to see students embrace this innovative, convenient way to get their favorite meals on campus. Here’s to 100,000 deliveries (and counting!) — and to continuing to shape the future of delivery together with Avride and The Ohio State University.

As September wraps up, our Grubhub team is proud to have recognized Hunger Action Month by giving back in New York City and Chicago. This year, we rolled up our sleeves alongside the Food Bank For NYC and Greater Chicago Food Depository – two organizations that support 800+ pantries and community partners serving families in need. Together, more than 110 Grubhub employees packed over 20,000 pounds of food, and the Grubhub Community Fund amplified the impact with $100,000 in matching grants across both cities. Last week, Grubhub was proud to open our Chicago office to Step Up, a nonprofit empowering teen girls and young women from historically underrepresented communities through mentorship and career development. We welcomed 22 incredible students for a day filled with inspiration, learning, and connection. The program included an office tour, a hands-on marketing exercise, and a career panel highlighting the many diverse pathways within our industry. It was energizing to see the office buzzing with curiosity, confidence, and big dreams for the future. These young women are part of the next generation of leaders, and we’re grateful to have played a part in expanding their career viewpoints.
