Early Results from Hyalex Orthopaedics Inc.'s First-in-Human Study Presented at ISAKOS 2025 I'm thrilled to share that Prof. Marcin Domzalski shared the early results from our first-in-human clinical studies of the Hyalex Freestyle™ Knee Implant during the Knee Cartilage session at ISAKOS Congress 2025 in Munich this week. The presentation, titled "First-in-Human Study of Biomimetic Synthetic Cartilage Implant To Treat Painful Knee Cartilage Lesions," revealed promising preliminary findings from both our Poland-based first-in-human trial and our U.S.-based Early Feasibility Study (EFS). 🔬 Key Highlights: • Early data suggests immediate restoration of joint surface with our biomimetic synthetic cartilage implant • Patients showing positive responses with quick pain relief and functional return • Joint-preserving technique precisely addresses specific pathology across a wide range of knee osteochondral lesions As Prof. Domzalski noted in his earlier assessments, "These are very promising results for cartilage patients at this stage of their treatment journey." This milestone represents a significant step forward in our mission to transform cartilage repair and help patients suffering from cartilage damage and early osteoarthritis regain their active lifestyles. With recent FDA approval expanding our Early Feasibility Study to a pivotal trial, we're excited about the potential to bring this cutting-edge technology to patients in need across the United States and Europe. Thank you to Prof. Domzalski, our investigators Sabrina Strickland, Andreas Gomoll, Dennis Crawford MD, PhD, Deryk Jones, Urszula Zdanowicz, Scott Hacker MD, the clinical teams, and all the patients who are part of this groundbreaking journey. #Innovation #OrthopedicSurgery #CartilageRepair #ClinicalTrials #ISAKOS2025 #MedicalDevice #KneeHealth #MassMedic

If you are looking for insight into Hyalex Orthopaedics Inc. technology, our clinical progress to date, and product roadmap, take a look at the recent LSI 2025 presentation from our CEO, Carl Vause. His presentation shares a snapshot of data from the Hyalex Early Feasibility and First-in-Human studies. Since this presentation in March 2025, these studies continued to enroll, and Hyalex has since received FDA approval to transition to the Freestyle knee pivotal trial. https://lnkd.in/ePHXQJEW #LSI #LSIAlumni #Medtech #Medicaldevices #orthopedics #cartilage #MassMedic

Great milestone for the Hyalex Orthopaedics Inc.team!
Exciting News: Hyalex Orthopaedics' Freestyle Knee Implant Advances to Pivotal Trial! I'm thrilled to announce that Hyalex Orthopaedics Inc. has received FDA approval of our pivotal supplement to our Knee Freestyle Investigational Device Exemption (IDE.) The approval of this supplement, supported by the clinical data from the Hyalex Early Feasibility and First in Human clinical trials, allows us to expand our Early Feasibility Study into the pivotal clinical trial for our Freestyle Knee Implant. This is a significant milestone in our mission to help patients with cartilage damage and early osteoarthritis regain active lifestyles. Our HYALEX® HYDROSURF materials platform represents a breakthrough in joint preservation technology, addressing a critical unmet need in the cartilage and joint preservation market. We believe that providing an off-the-shelf implant and a straightforward surgical technique will allow surgeons to address the patients in the $2B “Cartilage Gap” segment. The planned pivotal trial will build on the promising clinical results we've seen during this IDE study's initial phases. I'm incredibly proud of our team's dedication to advancing orthopedic care through innovation. Thank you to Dr. Sabrina Strickland, Dr. Andreas Gomoll, Dr. Dennis Crawford MD, PhD, Dr. Deryk Jones, and Dr. Scott Hacker MD, in the United States, and Prof. Marcin Domzalski and Dr. Urszula Zdanowicz in Poland for your continued support.
