Ten years on, the ILO Just Transition Guidelines keep people and #DecentWork at the heart of climate action. Adopted in 2015, they offer governments, employers and workers a practical, tripartite roadmap to move towards sustainable economies, through social dialogue, skills, social protection, rights at work and enterprise support. In the years ahead, our focus is simple: a #JustTransition with workers at the centre. ✅

The world is wealthier, healthier and better educated than 30 years ago. But progress has not been shared fairly: 🔹 58% of workers are still in informal jobs 🔹 71% of earnings are determined by circumstances of birth 🔹 At current rates, it will take a century to close the gender pay gap These are just some of the findings of the ILO’s new flagship report, The State of Social Justice. The message is clear: without urgent action, inequalities will persist, trust will erode, and opportunities will remain out of reach for millions. 📖 Read the report: https://lnkd.in/ewdC3tC7 #SocialJustice #DecentWork #GlobalGoals
