The MS-CC Research Catalyst Program is pleased to share the selection of five projects, following a rigorous application and review process this summer. Below is one of the projects highlighted. North Carolina A&T State University's project aims to establish a research services department and an advanced data lab designed to connect researchers to high-powered computing, software, and data-focused training. The cornerstone of the effort is a comprehensive user-needs assessment, engaging faculty, IT professionals, campus leadership, and the research office to map the CI organization and identify gaps that impact research success. In tandem, faculty will participate in workshops and conferences to build expertise for developing new campus-wide training sessions and research support services.

Missouri and Wisconsin Join Internet2 Effort to Expand Digital Access with eduroam | https://buff.ly/9ntM4Yr Students across Missouri and Wisconsin will soon have greater access to secure, seamless Wi-Fi through eduroam. We announced today that state nonprofits MOREnet and WiscNet have joined the eduroam Support Organizations program, bringing the number of participating states to 11. The program helps extend Wi-Fi to schools, libraries, museums, and other community spaces in participating states, enabling learning and collaboration wherever it happens. Since launching as a pilot in 2020, the eduroam Support Organizations program has grown rapidly.
