#WELLFridayFeature: In our Special Report, Investing in Health Pays Back, we spotlight NEO Office PH—a WELL at scale trailblazer in the Philippine commercial real estate industry, proving that health-focused strategies deliver real results. NEO analyzed seven building assets that, while averaging 16 years in age, pursued WELL Certification or a WELL Rating, incorporated health-focused features to boost occupant satisfaction, well-being, market appeal and differentiation. Their analysis showed the following: → Vacated spaces re-leased in just 6.5 months (on average) → Only 20% of spaces required reinstatement → 1 in 4 new tenants committed to long-term leases (10 years) Investing in health not only boosts well-being and satisfaction, it also drives stronger real estate performance. 🔊 Hear more from NEO’s Co-Managing Director & Chief Sustainability Officer, Gie Garcia, in our new interview with SVP of Research, Dr. Whitney Austin Gray: https://ow.ly/it2N50X2QHv See more in our Investing in Health Pays Back Special Report: https://ow.ly/nUrW50X2QHu #WELL #InvestingInHealth #HealthyBuildings #Sustainability #NEO

Just in: Investing in Health Pays Back, video edition. Ten years ago, IWBI set out to tackle a defining question: What if buildings could actively improve people’s health—and deliver real business value at the same time? We had a strong conviction they could—and today, we have a decade’s worth of data, research and real-world validation to show how that vision has taken shape. Over the past decade, we’ve seen WELL move from early adoption to widespread use. With that has come an explosion of real-world evidence—and the results are in: WELL buildings perform. Introducing: the Global Commission on Healthy Indoor Air! With world leaders gathering at the UN during Climate Week, healthy indoor air is having a moment, a seismic moment. The quality of the air we breathe inside is directly tied to our health, to our ability to learn and work, and to our collective resilience in the face of climate change. Poor indoor air is linked to heart disease, respiratory illnesses, asthma, allergies, diminished cognitive performance and lost productivity. And the burden is not shared equally. We know children, the elderly and vulnerable communities bear the heaviest costs. But today marks a new era of recognition, coordination and action. On an historic day kicked off by organizations and governments signing on to the first-ever Global Pledge for Healthy Indoor Air, a seminal rallying point that underscores our shared commitment, we have launched the Global Commission on Healthy Indoor Air to carry the momentum forward. The Commission is a first-of-its-kind, high-level coalition of nearly 170 world-renowned experts, scientists, public health leaders and industry pioneers from building design, real estate, manufacturing and technology, representing more than 30 countries. Over the next two years, the Commission will work to inform decision-makers, accelerate innovation, unlock new sources of funding, shape policy and raise public awareness so that the health, economic and societal benefits of healthy indoor air can be recognized, prioritized and realized at scale. A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for last week's WELL in-person training session held at the WSP offices, where we focused on WELL at scale. These events are always such a wonderful opportunity to come together and collaborate - we couldn’t have done it without you all! It was led by my wonderful colleagues Lydia Szewczyk and Shiori Kanazawa, who guided us through all aspects of WELL at scale, from the differences between WELL at scale and single asset certifications, to how to interpret a progress report. Huge thanks to our guest speakers Jim Rush, Giuliano Camerini, India Golding, Shaun Hill, and our very own Giovanna Jagger, WELL Faculty for sharing their valuable experiences and insights. As always, the discussion was highly beneficial and insightful, and we are grateful to all who contributed to such a rich learning experience. I also want to extend a huge thank you to Scott O'Hara and India Golding for hosting us in the beautiful WSP office. And a final shout-out to my colleagues Grace Freshwater and Penny Goodall Quraishi for their invaluable support with content delivery and ensuring everything ran smoothly. Stay tuned for our next session coming soon, but until then, we hope to see you all at the London Summit! #WELL #WELLAP #Training #WeareWELL
