A Home, A Future, A Shared Commitment Wehad the privilege of joining hundreds of community members for the grand opening of Marshall Street Landing, a new housing development operated by Family Tree. This four-story building offers 85 affordable apartments to individuals and families experiencing chronic homelessness — specifically those earning less than 30% of the area median income. While Jefferson Center was not involved in the construction, we are deeply grateful to stand alongside Family Tree in a partnership rooted in shared values. Their unwavering commitment to dignity, equity, and opportunity inspires us, and we’re honored to support residents through on-site behavioral health services that complement the Housing First model. Marshall Street Landing is more than a building — it’s a beacon of hope, stability, and community. And today’s celebration was a powerful reminder of what’s possible when organizations come together to uplift those most in need. As we reflect on this milestone, we also invite you to take a moment to check in on the people around you — especially those whose challenges may be less visible. Whether it’s a neighbor experiencing housing insecurity or a queer friend navigating their journey, your support can make a world of difference. Read more about Family Tree’s impact by visiting their website: https://lnkd.in/dy4nkG6 We’re proud to walk alongside Family Tree — and every partner working toward a future where everyone has a place to call home. #communityadvocacy #mentalhealthmatters #jeffersoncenter

At Jefferson Center, we believe accessibility should be the centerpiece of mental health care. Scheduling, paperwork, and payments should never stand in the way of getting support. That’s why we’re introducing Mend, a secure digital platform that makes care easier for clients and clinicians. As one of our clinicians shared: "The Mend platform has been a game-changer for our clients and providers. It builds on the foundation laid by our internally developed eForms and takes accessibility to the next level.” — JCMH Pilot MBC Provider With reminders, payment options, and quick access to forms and telehealth links, Mend helps you focus on care while we handle the rest. Reflecting on an unforgettable evening in Denver Last week, we gathered for the premiere of Feel It All, a deeply moving documentary by professional skier and Colorado local Drew Petersen. His story of navigating suicidal depression and finding strength through skiing and ultrarunning—resonated powerfully with our community. Drew’s keynote, “My Story is the Story of Our Community,” reminded us that mental health challenges in the Rocky Mountain West are real—and that healing begins with open, honest conversations. At Jefferson Center, we’re honored to be part of these conversations. Events like this show how special it is to live in a community that’s ready to talk about mental health, support one another, and seek help when it’s needed. Thank you to everyone who joined us. Let’s keep the momentum going. #FeelItAllFilm #MentalHealthAwareness #JeffersonCenter

Happy World Mental Health Day! Today is a great time to pause and reflect—not just on how you support others, but also on how you care for yourself when life gets tough. What helps you feel grounded and calm? Maybe it’s curling up with a good book, taking a warm shower, going for a walk in nature, or simply spending time alone. These small acts of self-care matter. And when it comes to others—how do you check in with the people around you? A simple “How are you really doing?” can go a long way. What is Active Listening? Active listening means giving someone your full attention when they speak. It’s more than just hearing words—it’s about being “locked in,” as many young people say. That could mean watching their body language, putting your phone away, and responding with thoughtful comments that show you understand what they’re sharing. What Does It Mean to Raise Awareness? Raising awareness about mental health can be simple. It starts with talking openly—asking loved ones how they’re feeling, sharing what helps you get through tough days, and being honest about your own challenges and how you cope. What Does It Mean to Get Involved? Getting involved means taking action. You can support mental health by joining a local group, volunteering with organizations that promote mental wellness, or speaking up for better mental health care in your community. Every step counts. Here at Jefferson Center, we provide treatment, tools, classes and trainings that help with all of these for yourself or those around you.
