From the busy streets to diagnostic labs, three motorcycle drivers in the Philippines are helping women access lifesaving cervical cancer screening results. Through Jhpiego’s Cervical Cancer Rapid Testing Solution (CeCaRTS) initiative, Bonn, Levi, and Ferdinand are proving that men, too, can be powerful advocates for women’s health. On October 7, Jhpiego donated 50 thermal ablation devices to support the Philippines Department of Health's cervical cancer elimination plans. Our work helps countries tackle challenges in integrating HPV vaccination with adolescent health services, navigating vaccine schedules, and finding sustainable financing solutions. We proudly lead the Coalition to Strengthen the HPV Immunization Community (CHIC), partnering with the Centre for the Evaluation of Vaccination (CEV) at the Universiteit Antwerpen and the Vaccine Confidence Project at London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, U. of London, to accelerate HPV vaccination in Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance-eligible countries. Together, we are building a powerful community of practice to connect global and local experts in implementation research and programming.
