Η συνεχής εκπαίδευση και η προώθηση καινοτόμων τεχνικών αποτελούν στρατηγική μας προτεραιότητα. Στο πλαίσιο αυτό, διοργανώσαμε το TaTME / TTSS Cadaveric Course, ένα εξειδικευμένο διήμερο εκπαιδευτικό πρόγραμμα που υλοποιήθηκε από το Node Institute, αφιερωμένο στις πιο σύγχρονες προσεγγίσεις για τη χειρουργική αντιμετώπιση του καρκίνου του ορθού. Για πρώτη φορά στην Ελλάδα παρουσιάστηκε η πρωτοποριακή τεχνική TTSS, η οποία συνδυάζει την ασφάλεια της κλασικής TME με την καινοτομία της TaTME. Το πρόγραμμα περιλάμβανε θεωρητική κατάρτιση και εντατική hands-on πρακτική σε δύο ειδικά διαμορφωμένους σταθμούς με χρήση πτωματικών προπλασμάτων: ο ένας αφιερωμένος στην τεχνική TTSS και ο άλλος στην TaTME. Οι συμμετέχοντες ανέπτυξαν δεξιότητες στον σχεδιασμό και την εκτέλεση των μεθοδολογιών με ογκολογικά ορθό τρόπο, αναγνώριση κρίσιμων ανατομικών δομών και ελαχιστοποίηση κινδύνου επιπλοκών, εφαρμόζοντας τις πιο προηγμένες χειρουργικές πρακτικές. Η πρωτοβουλία αυτή σηματοδοτεί ένα καθοριστικό βήμα για την εξέλιξη της ελάχιστα επεμβατικής χειρουργικής στην Ελλάδα, ενισχύοντας τη θέση της χώρας στον διεθνή χάρτη χειρουργικής εκπαίδευσης.
