We are heartbroken by the recent tragedy that has shaken our Minnesota community. Former House Speaker Melissa Hortman and her husband lost their lives in a devastating act of violence, and State Senator John Hoffman and his wife were also tragically wounded. Our hearts are with every family impacted by this unthinkable loss. Melissa was more than a leader—she was a champion for progress, a voice for justice, and a believer in the power of people. Her leadership left a lasting impact on Minnesota, and her loss is felt across the communities she served so passionately. We are grounded in the belief that leadership is a sacred responsibility—and when our leaders hurt, we all feel it. Today, we stand in deep sorrow with those mourning and in solidarity with all who are called to keep leading with purpose in the face of heartbreak. Minnesota is grieving. But we’re also holding each other close. #MinnesotaStrong #kpCompaniesCares #LeadershipMatters #InCommunity #RememberingMelissaHortman #JohnHoffman
