I try to limit the amount of Operaganda I post but our current production, Medea, is truly phenomenal. Maybe my favorite show at Lyric Opera of Chicago. The cast are stellar, and Sondra Radvanovsky is one of the top Sopranos in the world at the peak of her career. The staging and visual design are incredible.
During Wednesday’s Board of Directors meeting, it was announced that Sylvia Neil will step down as Lyric’s Board Chair in May 2026. She will be succeeded by Craig C.
