Deposits remain secure and are FDIC insured up to $250,000 per depositor. ⚫We’re open. All Machias Savings Bank branches and digital banking services continue as usual. ⚫Social Security and VA payments will continue as scheduled. These benefits are not affected by the shutdown. ⚫Paycheck delays. Some federal employees, contractors, and active-duty service members may see delayed pay.
