I’m thrilled to share that Marble Health has raised a $15.5M Series A led by Costanoa Ventures, with participation from Town Hall Ventures, Khosla Ventures, FJ Labs, Daybreak and Lorimer Ventures. Funding announcements rarely provide context behind the headline, so here’s a bit of the backstory: Growing up the son of a therapist and psychiatrist, I’ve long had a language around mental health. Early on, I was encouraged to explore therapy, which is one of the most important tools we have for building resilience and living fuller lives. Yet gaps in coverage, provider shortages, and misaligned incentives made access prohibitive, a realization that led me to start Headway, which today helps millions access affordable, high-quality care. Years later, I followed another curiosity and decided to enter the classroom, teaching middle school English at a low-income charter school in Brooklyn. I hoped to tap into the vibrancy of young people but what I observed was much darker: mental health conditions were ubiquitous, unchecked, and typically left at the door of a solo school counselor. Overwhelmed by these caseloads, counselors referred out to community mental health clinics, where kids would languish on monthslong waitlists. There was no follow-up. No continuity of care. No connective tissue between therapists, parents, counselors, teachers, and payers. Marble is building exactly that: the infrastructure layer for youth mental health. Recognizing that ‘care governance’ for youth is fundamentally multi-party, our platform is designed with care collaboration at the core. We are focused on driving real outcomes, leveraging AI to iterate on the construct of therapy, and continuing to scale our impact to serve families that are still waiting. If you’re interested in joining our mission, we're hiring across the board.
