Just build UI components in React, and they will be exposed as tools that can be rendered on ChatGPT with Apps SDK. Run: > npx create-mcp-use-app my-server --template apps-sdk You’ll get a full example setup with React widgets, tools, and resources that show up directly in ChatGPT Apps SDK format. mcp-use (YC S25) Launch Week Day 1 ⚡ 🤗 We released the TypeScript version of mcp-use. As always you can create an agent that can use any MCP server with any LLM in just 6 lines of code. But it does not stop there. mcp-use typescript provides an MCP client that can run fully on the browser, so you can write a client side component that connects to any MCP server. We also provide a server framework that lets you build MCP servers with beautiful support for MCP UI and APP SDK (recently released by OpenAI), both the MCP resources tools etc and the UI resources are served from a standalone server so you can configure everything in one place. I am pleased to announce the release of the new version of mcp-use (YC S25), where I served as a core contributor. In this version, I focused on developing the middleware feature. I built a pipeline to intercept MCP calls, allowing for the checking and modification of these calls and their results as needed. I just built a multi-agent workflow over the weekend, a casual project testing out ideas around multi-agent systems. Put together a multi-agent, multi-model setup for last-minute revision, deep research, image generation, and mind map creation powered by NanoBanna and OpenAI’s models. Had a great hands-on experience with mcp-use (YC S25) for fast mcp agent creation with Tavily mcp server for deep search on topics. Big thanks to Miguel Otero Pedrido for his Agent Cookie Cutter and course on LangGraph agents that made this possible. Two weeks ago we presented mcp-use (YC S25) at the Y Combinator S25 Demo Day! Thanks to Jon Xu for believing in us from day one.
