Health Tech Without Borders commissioned M3 Global Research to publish its latest study, Clinical Decision Support Tools: Breadth of Use and User Satisfaction. Feedback from over 1,000 clinicians showed that MDCalc was one of only two medical references with “Great” user satisfaction (by Net Promoter Score, NPS) with a score of 52. NPS measures how satisfied a clinician is with a particular product or tool and their likelihood of recommending it to a colleague. This “Great” satisfaction score of MDCalc is a testament to its use and trust in the medical community and how early it is introduced to the new generation of clinicians, often recommended in medical school or residency. Health Tech Without Borders, a global health non-profit, aims to uncover and promote the technologies and resources that can help improve and democratize healthcare for all. After surveying more than 1,000 clinicians about which tools they use and trust to help them care for patients, the study found that MDCalc is used by nearly two-thirds of clinicians monthly in the US, which was second only to UpToDate!
