Last week, ATC had the pleasure of joining our Meteor family for our very first Meteorcon. It was a fantastic opportunity to connect in person with many members of their team and deepen our partnership. We were honored to host the Pathways in Action event, where Meteorites experienced firsthand how ATC is supporting Career and Technical Education (CTE) across the country. From Robotics and HVAC-R to Advanced Manufacturing and Automotive, attendees explored a range of career pathways and saw some of our most in-demand solutions from top manufacturers like Festo Didactic, Dobot, and iConnect in action. Our team also had the opportunity to attend insightful sessions and learn from inspiring Meteor leaders who are driving innovation in education. Additionally, we connected with several of Meteor’s leading manufacturers, who are helping to build prosocial learning environments that are redefining how students engage with education. These inspiring spaces are helping students collaborate, explore, and grow in ways that prepare them for real-world success. This week was a powerful reminder of the strength of our partnership—and the incredible impact we can make when we work together. We’re excited for what’s ahead, and look forward to continuing to expand access to meaningful, hands-on learning experiences for students everywhere.

Last week was one for the books at Meteor Education’s companywide gathering — MeteorCon! 🚀 First & foremost, thank you to our customers for your understanding of how important this time truly is. Now, MeteorCon isn’t your typical “conference.” It’s where innovation meets collaboration. We got hands-on with the latest and greatest in the furniture world from our amazing industry partners, dove into new market research on how students are learning today and where the goals of educators exist (and why that matters for the educational world's future), and took a fascinating deep dive with Advanced Technologies Consultants into what the future of the workforce really looks like — and how education can help shape it. If you aren't already in that boat, let's have the conversation to see which way the tides are headed! What really stood out? The honest, open conversations across all levels of our company — not just colleague-to-colleague, but directly with leadership. We tackled how we can keep raising the bar for the districts and students we serve. We were reminded that success sometimes means thinking outside the box, towing your teammates (or being towed yourself), and never forgetting to celebrate each other’s wins. Speaking of wins — our awards night was phenomenal! 🎉 Huge shoutout to Karina McCane, Melissa Knapp, Roxann Gallagher, and Joe Laura from our Northeast Studio for representing big time! Most of all, it was refreshing to connect face-to-face with the teammates who keep this flywheel spinning — those human moments mean everything in a remote world. I took this position to advocate for all students, and experiences like this recharge that mission in the best way. Grateful to be part of such a passionate, forward-thinking team. Onward and upward! 💫 So, I have to ask for those who attended (industry partners, ATC & Meteorites), what was your most profound a-ha moment?! 🤩 🤯 🤔 Featured in these shots is your Northeast Studio 🚀 Chris Reilly, Mary Frances Pompei, Sabryna Boutin-Steber, Heidi Thesing, Robert Rosenheim, Karina McCane, Amanda Lees, Roxann Gallagher, Brett Nadolinski, Marty Groginski, Joe Laura, Matthew Colombo, Melissa Knapp, Courtney Eisaman, Kim Fusco, Moush Bedhoian

Is there a special ergonomic test for sitting on a chair sideways? Imagine the testing, design and work that went into this Smith System® chair that this learner has absolutely no intention of paying any attention to. She uses the chair in the way that is right for her, at that precise moment in time. We took this photo at the end of a Planning Learning Spaces in Practice project at Rogers Elementary School in St Louis, MO with Bhavini Pandya, Robert Dillon and Meteor Education . Case study here. https://lnkd.in/e4MPuBHF A complete mix-up of seating styles, shapes and heights is always best in a learning space. Let the learner self-select.

40% of employers say schools are failing to prepare students for careers. And they’re not just referring to academics. Employers are looking for adaptability, teamwork, communication, and problem-solving — skills that don’t always show up on a report card. Traditional classrooms weren’t built to nurture these abilities. But new approaches to teaching and learning are making it possible for students to graduate with the durable skills they’ll need to thrive in any industry. Check out this article and learn how schools can close the gap between classroom learning and career readiness. https://lnkd.in/e5ebYi3C
