Special Olympics Florida, in collaboration with the Miami Marlins Foundation and ABA Centers of Florida, hosted an action-packed softball skills assessment yesterday at loanDepot park, welcoming 250 athletes from across Miami-Dade County. Athletes of all ages and abilities, from 8 to 84 years old, showcased their talents in base running, fielding, throwing, and hitting, under the guidance of Special Olympics staff, volunteers, and former Marlins first baseman and current broadcaster Gaby Sanchez.
