The 2025 GSMC Annual Conference kicked off on October 1 at Brasstown Valley Resort in Young Harris, GA! The Georgia Society for Managed Care (GSMC) provides valuable training and education for managed care professionals, helping tackle challenges in the hospital and health care industry. GSMC also supports the Georgia Hospital Association's legislative efforts, raising awareness about the critical role of managed care in today’s evolving health care landscape. This year’s conference included deep dives into AI in health care, federal and state payer updates, and opportunities to network with leaders driving innovation and quality care in Georgia. Do you know your lemons? It's recommended that women perform breast self-exams monthly, but what should you be looking for when you do? This graphic from KnowYourLemons.org explains what to look for and feel when you check your breasts each month. Regular self-exams will help you to feel and see what is normal for your breasts and detect any changes in them. Noticing and reporting any changes, like lumps or skin discoloration, to your doctor can help them catch and treat signs of breast cancer. #BreastCancerAwarenessMonth #BreastSelfExam #KnowYourLemons #WomensHealth

Ovarian cancer occurs when the cells in the ovaries – female reproductive organs that produce eggs and certain hormones – grow and multiply abnormally. Roughly 1 in 70 women will be diagnosed with this type of cancer in their lifetime. Symptoms may be subtle or easily mistaken for other common health issues. Talk to your doctor if you experience any of these symptoms so they can determine the root cause. #OvarianCancerAwarenessMonth #WomensHealth #OvarianCancer

At Molina Healthcare, we believe that serving our members begins with serving our communities. Recently, our Molina Healthcare of Nebraska team came together for a two-day training that paired professional development with meaningful community service. Together, they: • Wrapped 15,470 diapers for 235 babies with the Nebraska Diaper Bank • Packed 3 months of feminine care products for 100 Nebraskans with Access Period • Assembled 100 welcome-home bags for individuals re-entering the community with RISE This experience was a powerful reminder that when we join forces — as colleagues and as partners — we can make a lasting difference in the lives of those we serve. #MolinaHealthcare #MolinaNE #MolinaCares #CommunityImpact #LeadershipInAction
