At Monarch, recovery is just as important as training. Our Physical Therapy Team works tirelessly to ensure members perform at their best, no matter what comes their way. They’re constantly developing their skills to provide the highest quality care, and that begins with education. We know physical therapy is often misunderstood, so we sat down with Dr. Taylor Black to address some of the most common misconceptions. Many new patients arrive expecting soft tissue work and time spent lying on a table. But not here. Dr. Taylor assesses patients in motion, focusing on safe, purposeful movement. “This allows an entry point for patients to benefit from the many advantages physical therapy, strength training, and conditioning have on the body. If the patient is being passive, I am failing the patient.” This active approach lets us truly see how your body and mind respond after injury, so we can plan, assess, and adapt to your needs. What most people don’t realize? You don’t need to be injured to receive care here. As Dr. Taylor explains, “Physical therapy can be used proactively to improve the body’s resilience to external forces, whether that’s on the field or chasing a PR in the gym.” Strength, mobility, and durability are built over time and that foundation starts here. We provide one-on-one, individualized programs. Long-term rehab patients often highlight our attention to detail and consistent communication, which build trust and create a safe, comfortable environment. You’ll never need to re-explain your history, our PT team works seamlessly with the rest of the Monarch ecosystem to keep your program up to date from day one. The impact speaks for itself. For example, a client worked with Dr. Taylor 4–5 times a week for six weeks before rotator cuff surgery. By improving mobility, reducing pain, and addressing strength deficits ahead of time, he returned to pre-injury performance within four months, meaning back to golf, pull-ups, and full function. You don’t have to wait for an injury to invest in your body. At Monarch, we do EVERYTHING, FOR A REASON.

The health and wellness industry has continued to change, make groundbreaking developments, and shift immensely in front of our eyes, changing the way we take care of our health. Now, with AI integrating into many of the things we use, how does it play a role in the industry now and in the future? We sat down with Co-founder and Medical director Dr. Ryan Greene to hear his thoughts on where he foresees this moving. “On the clinical side, AI will enable more precise diagnostics and personalized treatment by integrating the latest medical literature in the context of each patient’s unique data.” For Dr. Greene, AI is more than a tool, it’s support and guidance for patients. No need to wait for an appointment or to hear back from your physician. You can get real insights quickly, giving clarity and fostering impactful conversations. Their history, habits, and biometric trends are already known, no need to re-explain your story. That data is ready for him and for you to observe. One challenge Dr. Greene sees is the advanced data and information available to patients without medical training, increasing the “Dr. Google” effect. While it’s revolutionary to have this information at our fingertips, it does not replace the need for skilled clinicians. True understanding, connection, and human touch are things AI cannot replace. AI and clinical care can work hand in hand, just how we plan to use it in our facilities. “I envision a future where every Monarch member not only anchors their experience in our in-person ecosystem, but also benefits from a fully integrated digital companion. This includes everything from scheduling, medical and movement data, to personalized AI support that mirrors the voice and style of their favorite trainer, nutritionist, or medical provider, available 24/7.” Dr. Greene knows how taxing it can be to manage your health alone. Our members are busy and on the go, and our plan is to build a platform within our walls to help you coordinate visits, schedule sessions, and manage your calendar so the only thing you need to do is show up. No matter where you are, we bring Monarch to you. Giving you access to an experience tailored to you. AI can help streamline your care and it’s here to connect us to you. But the one thing it cannot replace, according to Dr. Greene? Human connection. For him, the ability to listen and observe is irreplaceable. Our goal with AI is simple: help us enhance human touch, not replace it.

Chris Lake DJ, music producer, and longtime Monarch member, joined Dr. Greene on the latest episode of our podcast to share how he prioritizes his health in one of the most demanding industries in the world. The conversation was inspired by Avicii: I’m Tim, a documentary that shed light on the toll touring and constant performance can take on artists. Dr. Greene wanted to explore this reality further, and Chris was the perfect guest to show what it looks like to build longevity in music through a strong foundation of health. Chris has been nothing short of disciplined, performing more than 100 shows in a single year while still showing up for his health. But it wasn’t always this way. Touring made him realize how much his lifestyle was wearing down his body, and that wake-up call forced him to change. The shift wasn’t just about habits, though, it was about community. For Chris, surrounding himself with people who keep him grounded has been the key to consistency. Since the pandemic, more artists have begun to take their health seriously, and Chris’s journey is a reminder for all of us: no matter your industry, health is the foundation that sustains longevity.

Our members all have different stories and paths that led them to us. Their dedication, their purpose, and their why are the reason we have built our ecosystem. Christopher Adamson joined Monarch in July 2020, in the midst of the pandemic when fitness routines felt uncertain. What he found here went far beyond a gym—it was a community where personalized training, physical therapy, and concierge medicine worked together to support his health. Read Chris’ Monarch journey in his own words: I joined Monarch in July 2020, when the pandemic left most gyms closed and my fitness routine uncertain. What drew me in was more than just access to equipment, it was the unique blend of personalized training, physical therapy, and concierge medical services, all rooted in an integrative approach to health. But what truly made Monarch feel like the right fit, and why I’ve stayed, is the people. From the front desk to the trainers, therapists, and doctors, the community here is filled with individuals deeply dedicated to their craft and to helping others reach their full potential. What makes Monarch work for me is consistency and integration. Here, my progress is tracked holistically-trainers, therapists, and physicians all have visibility into my health, from movement patterns to blood work. This ecosystem allows me to take care of my body inside and out, all in one place. Investing in my health has become non-negotiable. “Health is wealth” may be a common saying, but it rings true. I’ve come to appreciate how physical wellness fuels emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being. My goal is not just a long lifespan, but a long healthspan, a life lived with energy, movement, and vitality. While I love the workouts, it’s the people that keep me coming back. The doctor takes a holistic approach to medicine, the trainers push me to grow, the physical therapists keep me moving safely, and the staff create an environment I look forward to every time I walk in the door. Over time, my “why” has shifted. It’s no longer about lifting the heaviest weight possible, but about becoming the healthiest version of myself, moving well, eating to support my goals, and building longevity. Monarch has been a partner in that evolution, and I’m excited for the journey ahead.

Every company has a story and a reason for being. At Monarch, we know that our “why” matters. It’s what drives innovation, compassion, and the desire to create something meaningful. But we didn’t stop at asking why Monarch exists. But, why are our people here? Everyone has choices when it comes to careers, callings, and how they spend their time. Our practitioners, coaches, concierges, specialists, and support teams made a deliberate choice, to be here, with us. To be in service of others. That choice didn’t come from us. It came from them. They arrived with their own visions, their own ideas about helping people live more fully, move more freely, feel more deeply. They brought their own “why” and we are profoundly lucky they chose to live it through Monarch. In many companies, there is one why. At Monarch, there are many. Each one is unique and each one matters. Behind every session, every breakthrough, every quiet win, there is a personal story, of a practitioner who believes in progress or a team member who shows up to make someone else’s life better. Our people didn’t just choose a job, they chose a purpose, and that speaks volumes. While our teams are undoubtedly part of Monarch’s “why,” their individual whys are what make them extraordinary.

In a world where supplementation has become a hot topic, and with household names like GNC, how do we actually find supplements that actually absorb into our bodies? Sit down with Marc Macaluso, Founder of TMW Longevity. What started as an idea between two friends turned into something much bigger, creating the first multivitamin with a liposomal technology. After diving into the science, Marc found that liposomal technology which uses a protective ring of phospholipids, helps deliver vitamins safely through the body. It allows for better digestion and absorption, meaning your body actually benefits from what you're taking. He knew this was the way to deliver truly effective, high-quality supplements. Hear more about TMW’s first product, Essential Longevity, the story behind its carefully sourced ingredients, and how it’s changing the supplement space. Marc also breaks down why much of today’s supplementation market can be misleading and why his mission with TMW is to remind people that life is beautiful, and your health should support you in living as vibrantly as possible. “I believe that life is magical and that this magic’s animating molecule is Love. This magic becomes hard to experience when our health suffers. My goal with TMW is to create products that help us and those we love to be healthy for as long as possible so that we can experience love for as long as possible. To achieve this, I poured an artisan spirit into the craftsmanship of the product and partnered with some of the best chemical engineers and scientists out there to craft a truly unique and genre-defining product.”

Most gyms and group fitness classes offer energy and sweat, but not much purpose. Monarch Strength & Conditioning, does things differently. We're not chasing trends or counting reps. We coach with intent, build with intelligence, and focus on long-term progress that actually matters. Monarch was built to raise the standard. We create individualized training plans rooted in performance, injury resilience, and quality of life — whether you're an athlete, recovering from injury, or simply want to move and feel better. This isn’t just about fitness. It’s about building a body that’s prepared for life. Our strength program is fully integrated with Monarch’s medical team. If something’s off, a flare-up, poor sleep, or stalled recovery, we don’t ignore it. We collaborate, adjust, and solve it together. Everyone’s on the same page, working toward the same goal: helping you move, feel, and live better. We don’t define success by a leaderboard. We define it by what matters to you. Whether that’s pain-free movement, improved performance, or simply showing up consistently, we use real data and real conversations to guide the process — and help you stay motivated every step of the way. Our coaches are professionals. They assess, program, and progress with purpose. Backed by in-house mentorship and continuing education, they’re trained not just to coach, but to collaborate across disciplines and deliver a truly professional experience. Every member begins with two onboarding sessions, one to understand your history, movement, and goals, and another to test baseline strength, power, and aerobic capacity. It’s not random. It’s personalized from day one, and built to evolve. Monarch Strength isn’t a "workout." It’s a commitment to quality, collaboration, and care.
