🌟 From Challenge to Confidence: Dustin’s Journey to Independence 🌟 Two years ago, Dustin moved into the RAS Supported Apartment Program at Homes for Independent Living of Wisconsin LLC (HIL), a MyPath Company. Today, he reflects with gratitude on the friendships he’s made, the skills he’s developed, and the staff who have supported him every step of the way. With guidance from his parents and the dedicated RAS team, Dustin has learned to manage his budget, cook meals, and maintain good hygiene, important milestones on his path to independence. He says the people at HIL have helped change his life by showing him, every day, what it means to be a good person. 💙 Before joining RAS, Dustin lived in a CBRF. His hard work and progress led to a successful transition to a supported apartment setting, something he’s incredibly proud of. While he admits that following rules and staying motivated wasn’t easy at first, Dustin now carries himself with friendliness, respect, and a renewed sense of purpose. 👏 We’re proud of Dustin’s achievements and honored to be part of his journey toward greater independence. It’s our birthday! ❤️🎂 On this day in 1984, the Balestrieri and Zilber families founded Oconomowoc Residential Programs (ORP, Inc.) by purchasing a children’s residential care center and several adult group homes in Southeastern Wisconsin.
