Meet Pam Farago Morris, PhD, ACC (She/Her), Senior Manager, Talent Management    As a child, Pam Morris was intrigued by the concept of winning dynasties, emerging leaders, and how teams are more than the sum of their parts. As a lifelong New York Yankees and sports fan, Pam always knew she wanted to work in sports. A few years after obtaining her Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Clemson University, Pam joined the National Hockey League. Pam is on the Talent Management team within the Human Resources department. She works alongside Francesa Falco to lead performance review management and ensure the review process is relevant to employees. As a certified Executive & Performance Coach, Pam guides employees to set goals and achieve them in ways that benefit their career growth. She is also responsible for the NHL’s leadership development programming, which provides consistent training to inspire leaders across the company to be strong and supportive managers.    In addition to her role in Talent Management, Pam is on the leadership team of the G.O.A.L (Growth, Opportunity, Achievement, Leadership) Employee Resource Group. During the 2024-25 season, she partnered with other young professional ERGs across different leagues to host the Next Up leadership conference. She also helped plan and moderate a series of webinars where ERG members could learn about different career paths at the NHL to inform their own professional development goals.    As a member of the NHL’s Women’s ERG, Pam participates in the ERG’s mentorship program, serving as both a mentee and a mentor over the years. She enjoys meeting other people around the organization and feels she got so much from being a mentor and a mentee. She learned to speak up, ask for help from her mentor, and be a sounding board of guiding advice for her mentee. Pam loves her community at the NHL and participates monthly in the NHL’s Peloton rides.
