This New York Climate Week, join the Honnold Foundation, the Institute for Local Self-Reliance, and our Partners, BK ROT INC and Native Renewables Inc, for a trip outside of the conference room and into the streets of Brooklyn! We’ll spend time together outside, exploring what the transition from an extractive to a regenerative economy looks like in the streets and neighborhoods where we live. The morning will feature a conversation with BK ROT INC’s Dior St. Hillaire, Suzanne L. Singer, Founder and Executive Director of Native Renewables Inc, Institute for Local Self-Reliance’s Clarissa Libertelli, and our very own Deputy Director, Kate T., followed by an opportunity get our hands dirty (literally) to experience hands-on composting, e-bike transportation, and solar energy installations in action.
