We are grateful to the elected officials and community leaders who gathered at the Open House of the newest NEMS clinic in South San Francisco today! We were joined by the Office of Congressman Kevin Mullin, the Office of Assemblymember Diane Papan, Supervisor David Canepa, Mayor Eddie Flores, and South San Francisco City Councilmembers, as well as health leaders from San Mateo County Health! We’re grateful for their continued support in expanding access to quality healthcare services in San Mateo County. NEMS South San Francisco clinic is located on 200 Linden Avenue and offers primary medical care for all ages as well as acupuncture services. Our providers and staff provide care in multiple languages including English, Spanish, Cantonese, and Mandarin. Clinic hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a lunch closure from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. NEMS was proud to host Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi, Congressman Kevin Mullin, and Congressman Jared Huffman at our 1520 Stockton Clinic in San Francisco's Chinatown for a press conference on the federal government shutdown and devastating impacts of Medicaid and ACA cuts on our patients. Community health centers like NEMS are the safety net. If the net breaks, our most vulnerable members fall through. Our care team partners closely with participants and their families to coordinate care and support them in their communities.
