Join us in congratulating Dr. Thomas Clark at Logan River | Ogden Clinic, who recently became Utah’s first Diplomat of the American College of Diabetology (DACD). Dr. Clark is also Utah’s first member of the Cardiometabolic Clinic Alliance, giving him specialized training to manage complex diabetes (diabetes with hypertension, chronic kidney disease, heart disease, and others). Dr. Clark is growing his Cardiometabolic Clinic in Logan and training other providers on managing patients with unique complications.   Dr. Clark is now accepting referrals, so ask your provider about scheduling a visit with him if you live with complex diabetes.

Utah’s CRC screening rates are below the national average. Recognizing the need for stronger engagement and access to preventive care, more than 25 of Utah’s healthcare organizations are working to address colorectal cancer screening barriers, from reimbursement policies to patient outreach. Individual organizations are stepping up: From offering at-home FIT tests to embedding screening into routine care, they’re implementing their own initiatives alongside the broader collaborative effort.
