OESC CEO Trae Rahill was on KOCO 5 earlier today talking about the impact of the federal government shutdown and his recent trip to Germany, where he learned how apprenticeships are helping build a strong and skilled workforce. Those ideas are helping shape new opportunities right here in Oklahoma.

🚨Federal workers on furlough 🚨 As the government shutdown continues, it can take the federal government two or more weeks to respond to a request for earnings information after you file an unemployment insurance claim. If that information isn’t received in time, you’ll need to provide your own proof of earnings—such as pay stubs, W-2 forms, or other wage documentation—to help verify your income and avoid delays in processing your claim! And as always, if you are granted back pay when the federal government reopens, any unemployment benefits you receive will have to be repaid in full. https://lnkd.in/gixVicEX
