Farm-Fresh Taste Grows Here™ 🌱 Organic snacks & meals with no added sugar. Trusted by parents and loved by little ones.

About us

In 2015, Cassandra Curtis founded Once Upon a Farm along with co-founder Ari Raz to create more nutritious, convenient, and delicious baby food options for her daughter that weren’t available in her local supermarket. After creating her own recipes and selling the first cold-pressed organic baby food at retail—she joined forces with industry legend and former Annie’s CEO John Foraker and actress, philanthropist, and mom of 3, Jennifer Garner, to create the next generation childhood nutrition company. We are now sold in more than 22,000 stores nationwide and online with a growing product portfolio of organic, farm-fresh snacks and meals for babies and big kids!

Sustainability & Strategic Sourcing at Once Upon A Farm

Back when the government was still open, a few colleagues and I journeyed to DC for Organic Week. In two decades, the organic industry has grown from a $20B to a $71B industry. Though the standards are federally defined and verified, the culture around organic lives and breathes continuous improvement. Organic is foundational to our business and our impact at Once Upon a Farm so I'm all the more proud that O'Farm showed up for this event via: 💠 Sponsoring scholarships for farmers to attend  💠 3 employees in attendance 💠 2 panels participated in 💠 10 meetings with representatives in the House & Senate We would not have an organic industry without the farmers and farmworkers who steward our soil and natural resources. I was especially honored to moderate a panel that brought this into the spotlight. With Ron Estrada, Maria (Maggie) Torres, and Matt Rogers bringing essential perspectives on how we cultivate a thriving organic workforce. Madeline Tien and I didn't even get a photo together because we were out covering so much ground around in the House and Senate. (Another personal highlight was being welcomed into the House of Ways & Means during a vote to meet with Jimmy Panetta.) Thank you Madeline Tien and McKenzie Smith Valesko for your leadership and engagement on behalf of O'Farm! Organic Trade Association #OrganicWeek2025

  • Once Upon a Farm has officially re-certified as a B Corporation, with a new B Impact Score of 102.2! That’s 22 points higher than when we first certified in 2017! This is a milestone that reflects years of change, growth, and a whole lot of cross-departmental work. From reducing plastic in our pouches, to thoughtfully expanding employee benefits, to investing in partnerships that improve lives for children and families, every step is about holding ourselves accountable and building a happier, healthier, and more equitable world for generations to come. We’re incredibly proud of how far we’ve come and are even more committed to the work ahead. 💚 Learn more on our blog: https://lnkd.in/eQmA2jy3 B Lab U.S. & Canada #BCorp

  • Now, that is one farm-fresh display! 😍 We challenged Whole Foods Market stores across the country to see who could build the most eye-catching display for our baby & toddler pantry snacks. Let's hear it for our winning store: Mishawaka, IN! 👏 Grocery & Whole Body Team Leader, Helena Gazella and Associate Team Leader, Jessica Pierson knocked this one out of the park. On behalf of the Whole Foods Market Mishakawa team, we are donating 3,400 meals (donation value $10,000) to Save the Children US to help help kids reach their full potential for a happier, healthier tomorrow. 💚

  • We had a blast with our friends at The Coconut Cult during their incredible pop-up experience in NYC last month. At the Collab Lab, guests could: 🍨 Bring to life their dream brand collabs. Coconut Cult yogurt topped with Once Upon a Farm Tractor Wheels? Yes, please! ❤️ Shop handmade felt plushies of their favorite brands, crafted by Lucy Sparrow. (Psst: We'll be giving out some extras in our Facebook Group in the coming weeks! 😉) 🖍️ Color outside the lines at the Once Upon a Farm booth, where drawing on the wall was actually encouraged! Thanks for having us, The Coconut Cult! 💚👏

  • Your toddler’s taste buds better buckle up because our organic Oat Milk Smoothies are ready to take them for a deliciously dairy-free ride. We start with real fruit and veggie (no surprise there), add the simplest oat milk on earth (just oats and water), pop in some pumpkin seeds and blend them up into sippable, portable perfection. Oat, the places they’ll go! 😋
