The long-term growth outlook for private market assets is strong, but the short term is proving complex. New entity creation dropped 48% from its Q4 2024 high to Q2 2025. This decline affected almost all global jurisdictions. However, a few key hubs defied the trend: ▶︎ Cayman Islands saw a 37% increase in new entities from Q4 to Q2. ▶︎ Luxembourg recorded an even larger surge, rising 181% in new entity creation over the same period. Ontra’s proprietary data from our Atlas solution highlights where private capital formation remains robust despite global uncertainty. We’re now seeing an improvement in the most recent quarter, signaling a potential shift. We'll keep monitoring these trends closely as private markets navigate evolving economic conditions. Side letters, LPAs, and credit agreements create dozens of commitments that you need to track and act on every day. Keeping up is complex. The real challenge isn’t just volume — it’s visibility. Without a clear way to organize agreements, important deadlines, obligations, and covenants can sneak up on you. Ontra’s AI-powered solutions turn dense legal documents into structured, searchable data, giving you clarity and context. With the right tools, your firm can focus on strategy instead of spreadsheets, staying ahead of deadlines. Learn more at the link in the comments.
