In light of today's celebration, we're revisiting one of our past CDAs, "Data Everywhere: Improving Transparency & Trust in the Research Community Through PIDs." ORCID member organizations strengthen the scholarly record by contributing the data they hold about their researchers. ✅ Validated affiliations added by universities, awards by funders, and publications by publishers allow researchers to provide evidence of their career history and contributions. 📈 Better populated ORCID records increase data reuse and reduce admin burden for researchers. 🔐 Researchers always remain in control of the data included in their records.
