Together with Portland General Electric, GridCARE has unlocked hundreds of megawatts of grid capacity in one of the nation’s most constrained data center markets, accelerating the time to power. By using its generative AI-forecasting methodology, GridCARE advanced 400 MW of capacity, including more than 80 MW coming online in 2026—shaving years off typical data center energization timelines while improving reliability and affordability for utilities, customers, and communities alike. We started Hexium to solve the advanced nuclear fuel bottleneck. Earlier this month, our team took a major step forward: we enriched lithium-6 for the first time, using our patent-pending approach to AVLIS. In a single pass we were able to reach lithium-6 enrichment of 99.99%. This milestone is a testament to the grit and dedication of everyone on the Hexium team. Why it matters: 🇺🇸 The U.S. has no scalable domestic supply of lithium-6 today ⚛️ Enriched lithium-6 is the most viable path to tritium production, which fusion requires 🚀 Every major fusion roadmap depends on solving this tritium bottleneck When I was working on fusion reactor design, I saw incredible breakthroughs on the science side paired with a dangerously thin industrial base.
