About us
Long envisioned as a major international cultural institution in the heart of Lower Manhattan, the Perelman Performing Arts Center (PAC NYC) is the final element and cultural keystone of the 2003 plan developed during Mike Bloomberg’s tenure as mayor to rebuild the World Trade Center site after the tragedy on 9/11. PAC NYC is a cultural destination and testament to the power of the arts to inspire and unite us. Located on the corner of Fulton and Greenwich Street on the World Trade Center campus, PAC NYC is now open

A jam packed week of performances on our lobby stage 🤩 Free and open to all! THE BMCC SIGNATURE ENSEMBLE 🎶 (WED @ 11:00AM) The BMCC Signature Ensemble brings together some of the college’s most talented vocalists and instrumentalists, including both current students and accomplished alumni. BMCC LIVE: MONOLOGUE SLAM 📚 (WED @ 2:30PM) BMCC performances will feature the college’s extraordinarily talented students showcasing a wide variety of contemporary and original material. GENTLEMAN BRAWLERS 🎼 (THU @ 6:00PM) When Brooklyn collective Gentleman Brawlers performs, it’s more than a concert: It’s an electrifying experience. Led by creative duo Becca Fox and Matt Walsh, the group channels musical inspo Talking Heads with their distinct brand of Afrofunk and indie dance music. Through a sonic blend of disco-based horn lines, sticky highlife guitar, and polyrhythms from West Africa, Trinidad, and Brazil, GB’s live shows ignite a community-based, improvisational energy; in studio, they will often reimagine their songs through an EDM lens. DANIEL KLEEDERMAN 🎙️ (FRI @ 6:00PM) Often drawing comparisons to Jeff Buckley with his emotive, rangy falsetto in toe, Kleederman’s song explorations are grounded first and foremost by his relationship with the guitar. Anyone who sees Daniel Kleederman perform understands his intimate and loving relationship to his instrument; in his hands, the guitar appears both an extension of self and a portal to other worlds. LOVE CRUSHED VELVET + ALEXANDRA SKORA 🎸 (SAT @ 7:00PM) NYC’s Love Crushed Velvet delivers emotionally charged alternative rock built on crisp songwriting, anthemic hooks, and commanding live energy. Fronted by singer/songwriter A.L.X., with drummer Thommy Price and guitarist Jimi K Bones, the band has been crafting muscular yet melodic songs since 2010. Sharing the bill is indie singer/songwriter Alexandra Skora, known for her ethereal sound and intimate storytelling, Skora explores themes of love, loss, hope, and resilience while inviting listeners to reflect on who they are and who they aspire to be.

When Es Devlin began sketching the portraits for CONGREGATION, she only knew each person's name. While she tried to maintain that stranger relationship during the process, the end product is a co-authorship. It isn't just Es' visual work, but also an audio experience of the participants telling their stories of forced displacement.
