We are incredibly honored to share that Peachtree Comprehensive Health has been recognized by the National Guard and Reserve! Our practice received the Above and Beyond Award and our four founding partners received the Patriotic Employer Award for our support of our dedicated psychiatrist, David Halverson, M.D., during his recent deployment. They say it takes a village, and that couldn't be more true. This recognition belongs to our entire team, whose hard work and flexibility ensured our patients continued to receive excellent care while Dr. Halverson was away. Thank you to every member of the Peachtree Comprehensive Health family for your unwavering commitment and teamwork. We are so proud to support our service members! We're excited to welcome Kelsey Dunn to our DBT Team! 🎉 Kelsey holds a Master's in Professional Counseling from The University of Georgia. She has experience working with young adults and adolescents facing anxiety, depression, body-image challenges, and interpersonal difficulties. Kelsey is particularly interested in working with children, adolescents, and young adults to navigate challenges with emotion regulation, identity, self esteem, and body-image issues. In her spare time, she finds joy in Pilates, weightlifting, music (both listening and playing), trying her hand at pickleball, exploring Atlanta's sushi scene, and enjoying cat memes and anti-diet content on Instagram. We're thrilled to have Kelsey join us as the newest member to our DBT team!

There are key ways we can all learn to grow our capacity for mental and physical resilience: and while it’s not a perfect or simple path, by giving ourselves space for imperfection, we can find strategies to increase our resilience. Don't know where to begin? Understanding the connection between physical and mental health, as well as its impact on your own needs, is a good starting point. The time to build emotional resilience in ourselves and our communities is now. This #MentalHealthAwarenessMonth and beyond, we are encouraging people to think about what best helps them cope with challenges and move beyond basic “self-care” to consider true resilience, for ourselves and our communities. We're all in this together.💙

We are deeply honored and incredibly grateful to have been acknowledged by the esteemed Caron Treatment Centers last night at their annual Atlanta gala. 🥳 We were so proud to receive Caron's "Partners in Recovery" award recognizing our dedication and excellence in serving our community's behavioral health needs. This recognition truly validates the hard work, compassion, and unwavering commitment of our entire team at Peachtree Comprehensive Health. We are passionate about providing comprehensive and quality care, and to have our efforts recognized by such a respected leader in the field like Caron Treatment Centers is truly inspiring. It was a humbling experience to spend time with Atlanta's mental health and community change-makers, and were privileged to listen to Ira Jackson's impactful speech as he accepted the Richard J. Caron Award of Excellence. Thank you, Caron Treatment Centers, for this acknowledgment. It fuels our commitment to continue making a positive impact on the lives of those we serve. #behavioralhealth #mentalhealth #communityhealth #carontreatmentcenters #peachtreecomprehensivehealth #grateful

Procrastination is not a time management problem. It’s an emotion management problem. You’re not avoiding work. You’re avoiding tasks that feel boring, frustrating, or stressful. Postponing prolongs pain. The dread of starting is quickly outweighed by the joy of progressing. Illustration Janis Ozolins

Impactful insight! The Gottman Institute's research reveals that 69% of relationship conflicts are perpetual - meant to be managed, not solved. 🤯 Instead of striving for perfect resolution, focus on understanding and dialogue. A powerful reminder for both personal and professional relationships. #Relationships #Communication #Gottman #Leadership #Teamwork
Most relationship problems aren't meant to be solved, they’re meant to be managed. Dr. John Gottman’s research shows that 69% of relationship conflicts are perpetual, meaning they won’t go away no matter how much you try to “fix” them. Instead of letting these differences create distance, successful couples focus on understanding each other and creating a dialogue around their recurring disagreements. One key? Approach conflict with curiosity, not criticism. By listening, validating emotions, and making space for each other’s perspectives, you build a foundation of trust and connection, even when you disagree.
