In the latest episode of #ThePowerofKnowing series, I had the privilege of speaking with Dr. Sue Desmond-Hellmann about how AI is transforming health outcomes by enhancing disease identification, enabling personalized treatment, and accelerating drug development. Sue’s experience as a renowned oncologist, scientist, and former CEO of the Gates Foundation brings rich insights to our conversation. A few key learnings: AI is an accelerant to help us drive faster, smarter breakthroughs; responsibility and ethics play a key role in successful outcomes; and I loved Sue’s advice about “learning to learn” to cope with a rapidly evolving world.
