Great to sit down with Jordyn Holman of the The New York Times and share how Pinterest is using AI to empower, inspire, and put people at the center. At Pinterest, we tune AI for positivity and intentionally design it to give people real agency over their experience, rather than optimizing for maximum view time. That’s resonating with Gen Z, now over 50% of our users and our largest and fastest-growing audience, who value having real control and inspiration in their online experiences. Features like transparent GenAI labels and filtering, inclusive search filters, and deep personalization help users see themselves reflected in what they discover. We know that when people are in control of their experience on Pinterest, trust – and engagement – grow. We still have work ahead, but we’re committed to raising the bar for how our industry approaches AI. Thanks to Jordyn and the New York Times Corner Office column for highlighting how responsible AI underpins everything we do at Pinterest, and what it could mean for the future of tech. https://lnkd.in/gTDwndfy

Every young person should have easy access to mental health support. That conviction led Pinterest and the Schultz Family Foundation to launch the Youth Mental Health Corps last year. With support from Governor Glenn Youngkin and First Lady Suzanne Youngkin, the Corps is now live in Virginia – bringing its reach to 11 states for the 2025-26 school year. In just one year, trained near-peer mentors have already helped nearly 10,000 students, and early research shows fewer behavior referrals, better attendance, and, most importantly, more teens asking for help. Youth-led, community-rooted, results-driven. This is real momentum we can keep growing, together.

It’s World Mental Health Day—a reminder of how essential it is to care for ourselves and one another. I’m proud to be a part of Pinterest, where wellbeing isn’t just a conversation, but a true investment. Supporting mental health means meeting people where they are. Every Pinterest employee and their family has access to unlimited, confidential mental health care and coaching—because life doesn’t pause for work, and no one should have to navigate challenges alone. Through our For You Fund, we encourage employees to invest in personal wellbeing, whether that’s a yoga class, skill-building workshops, or exploring new passions. We also extend our commitment into our communities, offering paid Volunteer Time Off so every employee can give back to causes close to their heart. Flexibility matters, too. For work that can be performed anywhere, our PinFlex model empowers employees to choose how and where they work—remotely, in thoughtfully designed offices, or gathering in person for moments that matter. We trust each other to do our best work, in the ways that work best for us. What inspires me most are the stories our people share—of caring for themselves and lifting each other up. At Pinterest, we're fostering a culture that prioritizes well-being and empowers employees to show up as their whole selves each day. Today, on World Mental Health Day, a few employees highlight how this commitment shows up: investing in their mental health, the company support they receive and leading initiatives across our offices to recognize the day. https://lnkd.in/e4biRkdp
