For more than a decade, Pivot has been recognizing employees who exemplify our company values through the Sun God Award, presented at our monthly company meetings. Anyone at the company can make a nomination through our online suggestion box, sharing how the nominee has leaned into our company values of Impact, Balance, Determination, Professionalism, Honesty, and Kindness. Each month, a Sun God/Goddess is chosen and presented with a statue of Ra, the Egyptian Sun God. This statue adorns their desk for the month before being passed on to the next month’s Sun God. In September, our Sun Goddess was Bre Henley! As one of her many nominations summarized it: Bre shows up every day with determination to solve hard problems by being objective, empathetic, and curious. She's extremely professional in her interactions and balanced in response. We look forward to continuing to share about our future Sun God awardees, and hope you join us in celebrating them!

We've just energized the first project in our 16.6 MWdc community solar portfolio with TurningPoint Energy (TPE) in Maryland! This 2.9 MWdc solar farm in the Baltimore region helps the state work toward its 50% renewable energy goal and brings real savings to local residents. - Subscribers save an average of 10% on their BG&E electricity bills. - Co-investing $120,000 with TurningPoint Energy in community donations across this portfolio, including a $18,000 contribution to the Fuel Fund of Maryland that will help 72 households stay connected and empowered. - Site supports sheep grazing and native pollinator planting We are proud to own and operate this asset and bring these benefits to Howard County.
