🌱 Last year, PSA BDP Türkiye proudly supported a Mastic Tree Project, in Cesme, Türkiye. Native to both Cesme and Chios, Greece, these unique trees produce a resin known for its many benefits, from being used in traditional food (like Turkish mastic ice cream!) to cosmetics, medicines, and even chewing gum. The team helped plant and conserve these amazing trees, which are not only vital to the environment but also provide significant economic support to the local community. Most importantly, the project helps to create jobs for women in the region, empowering them by involving them in the cultivation, harvesting, and processing of mastic. 🫶 We are honored to announce that the Mastic Tree Project has been selected as a finalist in the Social Impact & Resilience – Environment Focused category at the Sustainable Business Awards 2025! 👏💚 Thank you to all who made this achievement possible 🎉
