The committee would like to take a moment to recognize two people whose behind the scenes dedication shaped the heart of our conference and community for years: Val Lines, and Wendy Bayer. Val Lines, one of the original engines of this organization. Her steady presence and thoughtful coordination helped establish the foundation COSQAM is built on today. If you’ve ever registered for QA or the Highway and thought “Wow, that went smoothly,” chances are Val had a hand in it. Wendy Bayer, who stepped into the secretary role after Val, brought warmth, energy, and an infectious enthusiasm to our team. She made the logistics feel less like a task list and more like a shared mission, and she always found a way to bring people together. Thank you, Val and Wendy, for everything you’ve done for COSQAM and QA or the Highway. You’ve left a legacy we’re proud to carry forward.
