🎉 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐮𝐦 𝐦𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐮𝐦 𝐢𝐧 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧! Following yesterday’s adoption of the EU #QuantumStrategy, the Quantum Technologies Exhibition officially opens today at the European Commission in Brussels 🇪🇺 🗓️ 3 July 2025 📍 DG CONNECT, Rue de la Loi 51 The exhibition shines a light on Europe’s leadership in quantum, featuring groundbreaking projects from the Quantum Flagship, EuroQCI, and other key EU initiatives. This morning’s inauguration includes insights from top experts including Prof. Tommaso Calarco, and a guided tour through Europe’s quantum innovations by Dr. Gustav Kalbe. ℹ️ The exhibition will remain open through the end of September, offering continued visibility to the quantum technologies shaping our future.

Immediately after today’s College adoption of the Quantum Europe Strategy, we hit the ground running for its implementation with our High Level Advisory Board. The High Level Advisory Board brings together leading European quantum scientists and technology experts, including European Nobel Prize Laureates in quantum. It is going to provide independent strategic guidance on the implementation of the Quantum Europe Strategy. I look forward to our work together in paving the way for the Quantum Act! Hosted by Poznańskie Centrum Superkomputerowo-Sieciowe (PCSS) in Poland under the 🇵🇱 EU Presidency, PIAST-Q is a major step in building a sovereign European #quantumcomputing infrastructure, fully integrated with #HPC systems 🧠⚛️. 💡 Powered by trapped-ion technology and delivered by 🇪🇺 company AQT, PIAST-Q offers: ✅ 20 qubits ✅ High-fidelity gates ✅ Long coherence times ✅ All-to-all qubit connectivity 🫅 Named after Poland’s first royal dynasty, PIAST-Q was delivered months ahead of schedule and will be available to European users by the end of 2025. With PIAST-Q, Europe takes a quantum leap toward building a sovereign, cutting-edge ecosystem, therefore, enabling research in quantum chemistry, optimisation, materials science, and beyond.
