🏆 Seatrium Wins Best Project – Innovation at ShipTek 2025 We’re thrilled to be recognised at #ShipTek2025 for our hydrogen-powered vessel pilot - a first for Singapore! 🥳 Together with our partners — Shell (Singapore), Penguin International Limited, Bureau Veritas Group, VINSSEN, and Air Liquide - we retrofitted the Penguin Tenacity, a roll-on/roll-off vessel, with a hydrogen fuel cell system. This means cleaner, quieter power on board, and a big step forward for #sustainable shipping! 🔧 What’s special about this project? 👉 It uses hydrogen gas and a battery pack to power the vessel’s systems 👉 The design is modular, so it can work on different types of ships 👉 Safety was a top priority, with thorough engineering and testing 🌍 Why it matters? This project shows that hydrogen can be a safe and practical marine fuel. Led by our subsidiary, Seatrium Offshore Technology (SOT), 𝐎𝐁𝐀𝐍𝐀 was conferred the Technological Innovation Award at the Offshore Jack-Up and Marine Engineering (#OJME) Conference 2025. The prestigious accolade celebrates the bold engineering and #sustainable innovation behind 𝐎𝐁𝐀𝐍𝐀, a first-of-its-kind vessel created by repurposing two legacy jack-ups, extending their useful life into a single, highly capable platform. This milestone was also accompanied by a presentation at the 40th Anniversary Jack-Up Conference in London. Strike Steel Milestone for Penta-Ocean’s Largest Heavy Lift Vessel 🥳 We’re thrilled to share a major milestone — we have officially struck steel this week for Penta-Ocean Construction Company Limited (POC) at our Nantong and Subic yards, just 246 days after contract signing. This marks the beginning of a landmark project that will deliver one of the world’s most powerful self-propelled Heavy Lift Vessels (#HLV)! In parallel, steel fabrication is also underway at our Subic yard, demonstrating the strength of our #OneSeatrium Global Delivery model — seamlessly integrating our #OneSeatrium capabilities across our global yards to accelerate execution and ensure consistent quality.💯 This vessel will be POC’s first and largest #HLV, equipped with a fully revolving 5,000-tonne crane, purpose-built to support next-generation offshore wind monopile foundation installations. It will significantly enhance POC’s ability to deliver large-scale offshore wind projects in Japan, contributing meaningfully to the country’s renewable energy goals.
