🚛🛰️ #SPATRA Road Pilot: Detecting Trucks & Parking Availability Efficient cross-border transport depends on reliable traffic flow and safe parking. Delays at borders and uncertainty about parking availability increase costs, fuel use, and safety risks. 📢 New Publication from the #SPATRA Project A new paper titled “Novel use of EO satellite data and AI in railways: A concept for rail buckling risk estimation in the SPATRA Project” has been published in the proceedings of the 6th International Workshop AI4RAIL 2025. Authored by Danijela Ristic-Durrant, Alina Klapper, Dietrich Kuhn, Milan Banic, Milos Madic, Milos Simonovicć, Milan Trifunović, and Aleksandar Trajković, the paper was presented by Danijela Ristic-Durrant in Portugal in April 2025. The publication introduces a concept developed within #SPATRA to improve #rail buckling risk estimation using #satellite data and #AI.
