SEA is proud to support Rochester Community Squash (RCS) as they seek to hire a visionary leader as Program Director/Executive Director. This position is an excellent opportunity for a driven professional who is excited to work directly with students, while simultaneously working with the RCS Board and SEA to build and open a public squash and academic facility by 2027, anchor funding for which is already secured.

A huge thank you to David Kay, and Squash and Education Alliance for facilitating such a wonderful array of events and opportunities for us to share our work at Squash Dreamers this past weekend. It was an honour to be invited to the women's leadership luncheon at the Yale Club, discuss strategy for international squash and education organisations, and connect with supporters at the Tournament of Champions alongside Emma Penney. I was also honoured to be asked to present to the board of SEA on our work in Jordan, and the incredible new heights our girls are reaching with the support of our programme and amazing team.

Thank you Options Group for sponsoring SEA's reception during the first night of the J.P. Morgan Tournament of Champions. It was incredible occasion to celebrate the extraordinary work of our twenty-one member organizations and seven international partners!
𝗗𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗢𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗢𝗳𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘁 What do squash and success have in common? A relentless drive. On January 23, 𝗢𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽 (OG) had the privilege of sponsoring the Squash and Education Alliance (SEA) kick-off reception for 120 guests at the 𝗝.𝗣. 𝗠𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 (ToC), celebrating the incredible intersection of athletics, academics, and opportunity. SEA has been transforming lives since 2005, combining squash, education, mentoring, and career readiness to empower youth in under-resourced communities. It’s an effort that resonates deeply with OG’s values of collaboration, discipline, and hard work, and dovetails perfectly with the company’s mission to create lasting impact in the regions where it does business globally. OG’s CEO Michael Karp explained it this way: “Through the discipline of athletics and focus on academics, SEA’s global purpose—to support and foster professional readiness among outstanding young people—aligns perfectly with OG’s values: to be collaborative and supportive, strive for excellence every day, and approach every project with rigor and accountability.” Hearing directly from SEA’s leadership and its graduates was inspiring. Squash legend Nicol David described the incredible success she’s having leading squash and education programs across Malaysia, and Will Pemberton, an SEA alum now working in Investment Banking for J.P. Morgan, shared how squash, academics, and unwavering family encouragement has positively shaped his personal and professional journey in the U.S. On January 29, Options Group will be back at the ToC with the 𝗢𝗚 𝗦𝗾𝘂𝗮𝘀𝗵 & 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻 program—an innovative, on-court collaboration with SEA to mentor and empower the next generation of leaders. Options Group is also sponsoring the men’s and women’s semifinals that day. Here’s to a week of passion, purpose, and achievement both on and off the court! #DriveForSuccess #SquashAndLearn #CommunityImpact #Leadership #Development Professional Squash Association, Jack Hellmann, Nicol David Organisation, John Nimick, William J. Squash and Education Alliance reposted this
Recognized worldwide as a major engine for growth in squash, changing the sport and thousands of lives for good, the Squash and Education Alliance is shifting in higher gear, opening some of the most beautifully designed squash facilities in the world. 3 magnificent squash centers opened in 2024 in Pittsburgh, Portland, and Lawrence, and 3 more new facilities will open in Baltimore, the Bronx, and Bridgeport in 2025. Each is a labor of love driven by dedicated leaders and philanthropists from their local communities. The Bridgeport community squash center SquashBridge will feature a permanent outdoor open-air steel wall squash court, the first of it’s kind in a public, state of the art squash, education, and community center. Squash is now open to the public and more accessible in the USA thanks to the long-term, consistent, dedication of program leaders, staff, volunteers, families, school partners, and generous philanthropists who have been nurturing and investing in SEA programs for almost 30 years. SEA has been changing the game since 1996. SEA programs are changing lives and revitalizing neighborhoods with squash woven into the local community fabric. Thanks Squash Facilities Network for highlighting and supporting positive growth in the game around the world. #squashisanolympicsport SquashBusters Portland Community Squash STEEL CITY SQUASH INC CitySquash Baltimore SquashWise SquashBridge

Proud to have a member organization be celebrated during Good Morning America! Congrats to Kareem, Stephen Gregg, and the SquashSmarts community on their 25th Anniversary. Take a look at this inspiring story!
Hollywood megastar Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and ABC anchor Robin Roberts celebrated SquashSmarts Staff Member & Role Model Kareem Price on #GoodMorningAmerica The Rock and Roberts thanked Kareem on air for his inspiring service to Philadelphia’s youth in front of 2.9M viewers and the 25 SqSm staff and students who joined him on set as part of SqSm 25th Anniversary Year. Kareem, son Ashton, and fiancé, Iyanna, were then blown away by a surprise one-week, all-expense paid trip to the premier of Walt Disney’s Moana 2 in Hawaii! SquashSmarts was equally humbled by an incredible $10,000 donation from #DollarGeneral to support our award-winning youth non-profit. Kareem joined SqSm in 2002 as a 6th grader from West Philly’s McMichael Elementary, spent seven years in the youth squash-and-academic mentoring program before returning as a volunteer, coach, role model and Director of Transportation for 160 girls and boys in North & West Philadelphia. “This is my family. This means everything to me,” said Price in his conversation with The Rock who talked about SquashSmarts “going beyond the reef,” a recurring positive message in Disney’s Moana 2.
